With the countdown officially on for our second instalment of the Nevo Electric Vehicle Show in partnership with Bank of Ireland, at Dublin’s RDS this November 10th, we’ve highlighted five EVs that you definitely won’t want to miss.

1. Renault 5

The new electric Renault 5 is a modern revival of the iconic hatchback, blending retro design with cutting-edge EV technology. Compact and stylish, it offers a range of up to 400km on a single charge, making it ideal for both city driving and daily commutes. With a focus on affordability, the Renault 5 aims to bring electric mobility to a wider audience, with pricing to be announced at the Nevo EV Show. Equipped with smart connectivity and advanced safety features, it’s a practical, eco-friendly option with nostalgic appeal for those who remember the Renault 5 of old.

2. Tesla Cybertruck

One of the most talked-about electric vehicles of the year, the Tesla Cybertruck will be showcased at the Nevo Electric Vehicle Show. With its unique stainless-steel body, the Cybertruck delivers impressive performance, efficiency, and practicality. Featuring 834 horsepower, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, with a range of up to 547km and fast-charging capabilities. It also offers a maximum payload of 1,134 kg, a lockable storage capacity of 1,897 liters, a 6x4 bed, a towing capacity of 4,990 kg, and even a “Cybertent,” making it the perfect vehicle for weekend excursions and camping trips.

3. Kia EV3

The new Kia EV3 is an all-electric compact SUV with a sleek, futuristic design, reminiscent of its larger sibling, the EV9. It boasts a spacious interior, an intuitive digital cockpit, and smart connectivity features seen across Kia’s current range. The EV3, with its powerful 81.4 kWh battery, offers a range of around 600km on a single charge, making it practical for both daily commutes and longer journeys. Aimed at eco-conscious drivers, the EV3 comes with an affordable starting price of €36,790.

4. Hyundai INSTER

Another funky launch to take place at the Nevo EV Show will be the new Hyundai INSTER. This A-segment, sub-compact urban EV features a bold design combined with a futuristic, innovative image with a spacious interior in a small SUV body. Offering a range of up to 355km and agile handling that’s typical of Hyundai vehicles, the INSTER is perfect for city driving and daily commutes. The interior provides enhanced technology with two 10.25-inch screens, wireless phone charging, a customisable upper door trim, and up to nine playful exterior colours to pick from. The upcoming Nevo Electric Vehicle will be the INSTER’s first appearance in Ireland and is certainly not one you want to miss!

5. Polestar 4

The Polestar 4 stands out as the first EV to eliminate the rearview window, showcasing the brand’s minimalist style and innovative design. This Swedish-inspired luxury EV offers a refined driving experience with impressive efficiency. It boasts a 0-100 km/h time of just 3.8 seconds in the dual-motor variant, with up to 620km of range in the single-motor version. Inside, the Polestar 4 features a massive 15.4-inch infotainment screen with Google built-in and 526 litres of boot space, making it an excellent option for those seeking a luxurious family SUV.
