Our Nevo experts have been discussing the year ahead and how the landscape of electric vehicles here in Ireland will continue to change. With more and more offerings coming to the market the calendar is well and truly full with new vehicle launches to attend and first drive opportunities. For this instalment, we take a look at 5 in particular that we can’t wait to drive!

1. BMW iX3 Neue Klasse

The new BMW iX3 will be a sophisticated electric SUV blending luxury with sustainability. 2. BYD Dolphin MINI

Already available in some markets, the BYD Dolphin MINI is a compact, fully electric hatchback designed for urban mobility. Powered by BYD’s incredible Blade battery technology, the Dolphin Mini offers two range options of 300km or 380km with super quick charging capabilities. 3. Renault 4 E-Tech

The 2025 Renault 4 E-Tech is a modern reinterpretation of the iconic classic, blending retro design cues with cutting-edge electric technology. The brand has already had significant success with the reborn Renault 5 and now this compact SUV should become a versatile option for urban and rural driving. Equipped with Renault's latest electric powertrain, the Renault 4 boasts impressive range of up to 400km and efficient performance. Inside, it features a spacious, practical interior with advanced connectivity and driver-assistance systems but plenty of nods to its historic namesake. We believe Renault has done an incredible job combining nostalgia with sustainability to provide an eco-friendly and functional choice for Irish drivers.

4. Opel Frontera

Another name reborn! The all-new Opel Frontera Electric has been designed from the ground up and looks fresh. The bold styling is sure to turn heads and its pure 100% electric powertrain will give you a range of up to 305km. Inside you can expect space with versatility and smart features, designed to tackle your daily routine. No matter your destination this new Frontera Electric looks set to make sure Irish punters get all the vehicle they need and more.

5. Audi A6 Avant e-tron

Another vehicle the Nevo team are looking forward to is the Audi A6 Avant e-tron. This stylish, all-electric luxury car that combines cutting-edge technology with exceptional performance is stunning to look at. Built on Audi's premium PPE platform, it features a powerful dual-motor setup, delivering up to 496 horsepower and a range exceeding 756 km on a single charge. Its aerodynamic design enhances efficiency, while the spacious, tech-filled interior will ensure comfort. Equipped with fast-charging capabilities, it can gain 310 km of range in just 10 minutes.
