Citroën ë-C5 Aircross - Review

Citroën is bringing its comfort-focused approach into the electric SUV market with the new ë-C5 Aircross. Built on Stellantis' STLA Medium platform, the family SUV combines long-range capability, generous interior space and Citroën’s latest design language. With its distinctive three-point lighting signature and focus on passenger comfort, the ë-C5 Aircross takes a different approach to many of today’s increasingly sporty electric SUVs.

Big batteries, long range and fast charging

The ë-C5 Aircross will be available with two battery options. A 73kWh battery offers a range of up to 520km, while a larger 97kWh version extends that figure to up to 680km depending on specification. DC charging speeds of up to 160kW are supported, allowing a 10–80% charge in approximately 27 minutes. Built around long-distance usability, the platform is designed to balance efficiency with everyday practicality.

Designed around passenger comfort

Inside, the ë-C5 Aircross places a strong emphasis on space and comfort. A 2.78-metre wheelbase helps maximise rear passenger room, while the rear seats can recline between 21 and 33 degrees. Practicality is also a major strength, with a 651-litre boot and additional storage space beneath the load floor. Up front, a 13-inch waterfall-style infotainment display is paired with a large head-up display, while Citroën’s Advanced Comfort suspension system aims to deliver a smoother ride over a variety of road surfaces.

Worth considering?

The ë-C5 Aircross focuses on the qualities many family SUV buyers value most: comfort, space and long-range capability. With generous boot space, competitive range figures and a cabin designed around passenger comfort, it offers a practical alternative in the growing electric SUV segment.
