Video Review
The all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric introduces a new generation of compact premium EVs, becoming the first model built on Mercedes-Benz's dedicated MMA (Mercedes Modular Architecture) platform. Designed with efficiency at its core, the CLA combines sleek coupé styling, an 800V electrical architecture and long-range capability, with Irish pricing starting from €53,000 while SEAI grant support remains available.
Long range, fast charging and everyday practicality
The CLA Electric will be available with three battery sizes – 58kWh, 71kWh and 85kWh – with the largest battery offering a claimed range of up to 790km. Thanks to its 800V architecture, the CLA supports DC charging speeds of up to 350kW, allowing a 10–80% charge in approximately 20 minutes. Practicality has also been improved, with a 400-litre rear boot complemented by a 40-litre front trunk, while the rear seats fold in a 40/20/40 configuration for added versatility.
Premium technology throughout
Inside, the CLA features Mercedes-Benz's new flat-glass MBUX display layout with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, alongside augmented reality navigation designed to make route guidance more intuitive. The exterior also introduces a distinctive lighting signature, with Mercedes' three-pointed star integrated into both the front and rear light design, reinforcing the model's new identity.
