The Renault Megane E-Tech receives a significant update for 2026, combining refreshed styling with improved battery technology and enhanced connectivity. Designed and built in France, the latest version introduces a revised front-end design, new lighting signatures and a simplified trim structure.
Design & Technology
The updated Megane features a redesigned front bumper, new diamond-pattern daytime running lights and revised rear lighting, while retaining its flush door handles, coupe-inspired profile and available 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels. Inside, every model comes with Renault's OpenR system, combining a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12-inch touchscreen with Google built-in, Google Maps and Google Assistant.
Battery, Range & Charging
Power comes from a 220hp electric motor producing 300Nm, paired with a new 67kWh LFP battery. Renault quotes a driving range of up to 500km, while DC charging capability has increased to 165kW, allowing a 15% to 80% charge in around 24 minutes. An 11kW bidirectional charger comes as standard, with a 22kW AC charger available as an option.
