Skoda Epiq - Review

Skoda is preparing to enter the affordable electric crossover market with the upcoming Epiq, a compact EV designed to prioritise practicality, efficiency and everyday usability. Sitting below the Elroq and Enyaq in Skoda’s growing electric lineup, the Epiq is expected to become one of the brand’s most accessible EVs when it arrives in 2026.

Targeting over 400km of range

Built on Volkswagen Group’s MEB Entry platform, the Epiq is targeting a WLTP range of more than 400km depending on specification. Expect fast charging capability, alongside front-wheel drive powertrains focused more on efficiency and affordability than outright performance. Skoda says the Epiq has been designed around simplicity and value, two areas that have helped the brand build a strong following across Europe.

One to watch in the affordable EV market?

The Epiq looks set to become an important model not just for Skoda, but for the wider EV market. With compact dimensions, family-friendly practicality and a focus on affordability, it could hit a sweet spot for buyers looking to make the switch to electric without moving into larger or more expensive SUVs. The Skoda Epiq Irish pricing is starting at €24,559. Make sure to watch our full first-glance review for a closer look.
