Video Review
The all-new Škoda Peaq is set to become the brand's flagship electric SUV, bringing seven-seat practicality, long-range capability and a strong focus on comfort. Arriving in Ireland from January 2027, the Peaq sits above the Kodiaq and represents Škoda's largest model to date.
Design & Practicality
Built as a dedicated family-focused EV, the Peaq is 11cm longer than the current Kodiaq and offers seating for up to seven passengers. A wheelbase of approximately 2.9 metres helps maximise cabin space, while boot capacity reaches an impressive 935 litres in five-seat configuration. Even with all seven seats in place, there is still 299 litres of luggage space available.
Interior & Technology
Inside, the Peaq introduces several new features for Škoda, including a 14-inch vertical infotainment display and augmented reality head-up display. Premium options include Sonos audio, Ergo seats with pneumatic massage functionality and leg rests, while dual wireless phone charging and multiple USB-C ports add everyday convenience. Sustainable materials are used throughout the cabin, reflecting Škoda's latest interior design approach.
Range & Charging
The Peaq will be available with multiple battery and drivetrain options. The largest 91kWh battery delivers up to 620km of range in rear-wheel-drive form, while all-wheel-drive variants offer up to 613km. DC charging speeds of up to 200kW are supported, with a 10-80% charge taking as little as 28 minutes.
Verdict
The Peaq is shaping up to be one of Škoda's most ambitious electric vehicles yet. Combining seven-seat practicality, flagship comfort features and over 600km of range, it aims to bring a new option to buyers looking for a large family EV when it arrives in Ireland in 2027.
